First Year

The first year is the foundation of medical education and includes pre-clinical subjects which form an understanding of the normal human anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry.

Second Year

In the second year students are introduced to para-clinical subjects that link the basic sciences to disease processes, drug action and infection and prepare students for the clinical subjects to follow.

1. Pathology

2. Pharmacology

3. Microbiology
   

Third Year

The third year includes community-oriented subjects and some clinical specialities; students get acquainted with the basics of these disciplines both theoretically and practically with clinical postings.

1. Community Medicine

2. ENT (Otorhinolaryngology)

3. Ophthalmology
   

Fourth Year

The fourth year includes major clinical disciplines with extensive ward and out patient teaching in medicine, surgery, and allied disciplines.

2. Surgery

3. Pediatrics

4. Obstetrics & Gynecology
   

Fifth Year

The fifth year includes extensive clinical postings which lead up to the professional examination and ultimately the compulsory internship year.
