First Year

This year lays down the foundations of basic medical science by introducing students to the structure and normal functioning of the human body. The students get acquainted with medical knowledge and skills through laboratory work and dissection classes.

Second Year

The main focus of year two is on the study of diseases, microorganisms, medicines, and community health. Diagnosing and analytical skills are learned by the students through classroom lectures and practical laboratory training.

  3. Microbiology

  4. Forensic Medicine

  5. Community Medicine 

Third Year

In the third year, the students are shifted from the study of diseases and medicines towards clinical medicine and preventive medicines. This year sees an increased emphasis on patient care.

  3. ENT

  4. Ophthalmology

  5. Community Medicine

Fourth Year

Ward postings, outpatients' departments, operation theaters, and bedside teaching under faculty members give a lot of clinical exposure to the students.

Fifth Year

This year trains the students for independent medical practice by providing them with advanced clinical training in various important specializations. After successfully undergoing the academic program, the students go for a one-year compulsory rotatory internship in an authorized teaching hospital.
